Permanent image formation on ceramics, glass, wood, metal etc. - by lacquering, drying, freezing, applying photographic emulsion, imaging and glazing

Method involves (a) lacquering, drying and freezing the surface; (b) applying and drying a special emulsion; (c) engraving the image in the emulsion layer from the negative; and (d) fixing, washing and glazing image. The images are insol. in water at low to medium temps. and resistant to mechanical stress. They can be applied to any surface, e.g. the inside or outside of an ordinary ceramic dish, which can even be of inferior quality. No surface pretreatment is necessary.
