IB (Cu, Ag, Au), 2B (Zn, Hg. Cd) or 8 (e.g. Fe, Co, Ni or Pd), the zeolite having been pretreated with an ammonium ion-containing solution before application of the metal or metal compound. The zeolite may be a type -A, -X or -Y. The weight ratio of zeolite to metal may be 100 : 0.01 to 100 : 10. The zeolite may be heated to 100-900‹C after applying the metal. The Examples relate to Fe on zeolites SA and 13X and Cu on zeolite SA.</p> |
