<p>The valve has a single handle regulating both the proportions and also the flow rate of the mixed water. The two valve plungers (6) are offset from the spindle of the rocking disc (9), and their rods (8) bear against the disc diagonally opposite each other. Means are provided on plungers or valve seats for adjusting the hot and cold water flow characteristics. The points of contact of the plunger rods (17, 18) with the disc can lie on a common pitch circle centred on the valve body centre line, being offset by 0.45 times the radius of this circle.</p> |
