The pipe (3') is supported by a strap (1') which passes around the underside of the pipe. The pipe is supported from a vertical bolt (4') permanently fixed to a structure. The ends of the strap are shaped and pass between two collars (2',5') from the outside towards the inside. The collars are fitted to the bolt. The ends of the strap are hooked over the inner edges of the upper collar. A nut (6') holds the collars onto the bolt. The heavier the pipe the tighter the grip on the collars.
