<p>The anchor has triangular flukes (1, 2) and tripping palms (14) pivoting about the end of the shank (4). Projecting from the widest part of the flukes, there are short rolling preventer bars which are (7, 8), prismatic in section and overlap the flukes for half their length. The rolling preventer bars major axes lie in the fluke plane, the leading edge half angle with this plane being between 32 deg. and 50 deg. One roll preventer carries the eye (13) for the anchor tripping cable.</p> |
