<p>The gas burner anti-extinction device comprises a cap with a large number of flame openings drilled round the sides, and prevents extinction of the flame by accident due to spillage of liquid etc. onto it. It has one or more protective shields (5) above an opening or set of openings, together with deflectors for directing spilled liquid downwards to opposite sides of the shields. These deflectors can alternate with the shields, which can be fixed to the periphery of a dome covering the burner between the openings. The dome is formed by the top part of the cap.</p> |
