Milling table for spectacle frames - has template mountings and guides for workpiece which is secured by rapid action fasteners

The manually operated work-table (11) is for use in conjunction with a milling cutter (8) and esp. in the prodn. of small workpieces eg spectacle frames. The motor-driven cutter (8) is mounted vertically over the table (11) with a fixed follower (9), and the table (11) can be moved in any horizontal direction. The table has fasteners for the location of a template (10) and lateral guides for a sheet workpiece (31). A transverse bar (30) has rapid action clamps (18, 28, 29) for securing the sheet (31), the finished part dropping through an opening (15). The clamps (18) are positioned on the outer edge of the table (11) relative to the template (10) and the machine block (1), and an adjustable workpiece-stop (16) locates beyond the opening (15) relative to the clamps (18).
