The floor warming mat, for warming the feet of workers, consists of a heating foil (2) sandwiched between two metal plates (1) provided with ribs, nipples or similar on their outer surfaces. The ribs etc. reduce conductive heat transfer to the floor whilst allowing convective heat transfer to the worker's feet. The mat is portable and has temperature regulator.
