The advertising panel is for use in an airport or transport garage etc., and uses a printed advertising display (5) which is positioned behind a transparent front plate (1). The latter is secured to a base plate (7), fixed to a wall, via a number of retaining clips (3), so that at least two of the chamfered edges of the front plate (1) are visible. Pref. the base plate (7) is slightly smaller than the front plate (1), so as to be fully covered by it, with the retaining clips (3) spaced along the top and bottom edges of the front plate (1).
