The main patent describes toys or physical training apparatus using springs and mechanical links which in some cases are motor driven. This addition patent is concerned with human or animal figures with hinged joints which form the mechanical links. A frame (1) supports an oscillating lever (2) on a pivot bolt (3). A motor (7) drives the lever (2) by means of a connecting rod (8). A human figure with articulated joints (10) is attached to the lever (2) so that the figure performs when the lever (2) oscillates. A tension spring (9) balances the weight of the figure (10). The iddea may be applied to figures of animals with riders which also have articulated joints.
