Float with hook enclosure and runner - has piston rod-type tensioned element with guide for fishing line

The float has a hook enclosing device and a runner device for a fishing line. The passage of the fishing line can be adjusted according to the desired depth of the fishing hook via a sink weight which can be set against a stop of the runner. The hook enclosing device comprises a tensioned element. The tensioned element has a guide for the fishing line (16) there being a further guide for the fishing line on a part of the float (1) which is fixed with respect to the pretensioned element. The tensioned element is a piston rod arranged within a long hollow cylinder which dips into the water at an open end.
