Street cleaning machine with a disc brush has reception units (2) located either side of the pivot. A support shaft (1) for the cleaning brush can be selectively located in these units in the circumferential- and longitudinal-direction. The shaft can be clamped in position by a clamp comprising e.g. an eccentric with a hand shaft. A vertical pivot pin (4) is positioned on the front end of the support shaft and carries hinge piece which can oscillate horizontally and has a swivel point (6) with horizontal axis for the quadrilateral linkage on which the circular brush is suspended. A pivot point (14) for the vertical oscillation is located in front of that (4) for the horizontal oscillation.
