<p>To produce rounded or rounded and mitred edges of walls for an outer surface of a housing produced by the folding construction method, panels (13, 14), which are separated by a joint (22) and are rounded and mitred at the separation edges, are connected to a glued-on film (6) and folded in such a way that the panel edges rest against one another. To achieve a completely smooth edge, any bonding agent is avoided in the region of the rounding or mitring.
