<p>1502657 Modulation contrast microscope R HOFFMAN 14 April [5 June 1974] 15267/75 Heading G2J The modulation-contrast microscope system disclosed in pending application 15266/75 is modified in that the "slit-image" is obtained by the use of a suitable electric lamp having a planar filament. 1502669 Photographic multi-colour silver dye bleach material CIBA-GEIGY AG 27 Oct 1975 [28 Oct 1974] 44101/75 Heading G2C A photographic silver dye bleach material contains, in each of at least 2 layers, a first dyestuff which can be bleached imagewise, and of which the absorption maximum corresponds to one of the primary colours red, green and blue, at least one of the dyestuffs having an undesired parasitic colour density (absorption of light outside the region of the complementary primary colour), with a silver halide emulsion layer sensitive to a particular spectral region being associated with each dyestuff, the material also being characterized by (1) a silver halide emulsion layer consisting at least partially of AgI associated with the dyestuff of which the undesired parasitic colour density is to be compensated, (2) in a further layer, at least one second dyestuff, of which the main colour density (red, green or blue) corresponds to the parasitic colour density, requiring compensation, of the first dyestuff, and a silver halide emulsion free from iodide ions, being present, (3) a further layer, which is adjacent to that containing the second dyestuff, containing colloidal nuclei which are capable of depositing metallic silver from soluble silver complexes, (4) a separating layer being present between the layer containing the nuclei and the layer which contains the dyestuff of which the parasitic colour density is to be compensated. This material is used to produce masked subtractive positive colour images by exposure, silver development where the developer contains a ligand which is capable of producing water-soluble silver salt complexes, dye bleaching, silver bleaching and fixing.</p> |
