<p>Polyolefin film has a polar and non-polar face. The support is of another material. On their paths they pass through a 1st pressure zone defined by a pressure element and a convex rotary heater. The film is between the support sheet and the heater, which its non-polar face contacts on an arc for rapid heating to a semi-adhesive surface for the non-polar face. They are then passed through a 2nd such zone, with the polar face in intimate contact with the support, for hot-welding and formation of a permanent chemical bond, with adhesion greater than that of the nonpolar face to the heater. Preferably the polar face is produced by an electric discharge.</p> |
