<p>PURPOSE:To protect an image from being damaged due to transfer paper wrinkle and its trailing edge leaping by bringing an endless belt which supports and conveys a transfer material into contact with a fixing roller and simultaneously rotating both the endless belt and the fixing roller. CONSTITUTION:The endless belt 2 and the fixing roller 3 simultaneously rotates in contact with each other. The endless belt 2 conveys the transfer paper on which the image is transferred by a photosensitive body 1 with electrostatic attraction to enter a nip part constituted of both the fixing roller 3 and a pressure roller 4, where the transfer paper is subjected to the toner image fixing and discharged. With the constitution, the transfer paper stably enters a fixing part with its trailing edge sticking to the endless belt until it is completely conveyed into the fixing part. Thereby, the image can be prevented from being damaged due to the wrinkle of the transfer paper and the leaping of its trailing edge.</p> |
