The seat consists of a body which can slide on its base and a back, the inclination of which can also be varied and which is hinged to the seat. Both fit inside a housing and the seat slides on balls, with suitable stops limiting movement. The seat is drawn back to a rear position by a spring and the whole assembly rests on a floor support. Both the back and the seat are power assisted by a source of power and a cam mechanism is also employed. The energy source acts on the rear of the seat frame and the support. |
