<p>The pressure cooker comprises a sliding door (10) inside the cylindrical housing (2). The door (10) is fixed in the middle of the front ends of two top (12) and bottom (13) diametrical bars which are mounted on central pivots (14, 15). The back end of each bar (12, 13) acts in conjuction with pushers (37) which temporarily shut the door against the join (9). The controls for rotating the door (10) consist of a roughly horizontal lever (23) outside the case, with the front end projecting from the front (25) of the pressure cooker. The middle part is joined to an axle which goes through the top pivot and forms part of an inner lever (27) possessing a vertical projection (28) joined to the top bar of the door. A counterweight which moves vertically is joined by a cabie to the outer lever of the door control mechanism.</p> |
