<p>Light fragile metal gas bottles are packed in staggered rows in a structure having a base (1), rigid corner posts and upper cross members (10, 11). The bottom row of bottles rest on elastic chocks on the lower cross members. The rows are separated by corrugated bands of metal sandwiched in rubber which are bolted to the corner posts. Members (10, 11) also have elastic chocks which bear on the upper row of bottles and they are secured on the corner posts by nuts screwed onto studs (6 to 9).</p> |
