REDUNDANCY PROCESS CONTROLLER

摘要

High reliability of process system control is provided by using multiple back up used in applications involving digital parameters. Three identical controllers have external data inputs for arithmetic and logic functions. The controllers operate to identical programmes held in separate programme stores. Opto-isolated clock generators provide time bases for the controller operations. Output transmit over interfaces and monitors maintain a continuous check on controller status. Input logic stages interpret the monitor stage status to indicate single or double system malfunctions.
