The arrangement enables the mandrel for the perforating tool to be removed and to be remounted after it is prepared for further operation. A lower supporting pan, profiled arm and shaft are provided which enable the mandrel and the rolled and perforated block to be removed from the pin support slide into a rest position and then to an extraction arrangement. An inclined surface, swivelling device and chain conveyor are provided by means of which the mandrel is moved through various stations for cooling, checking and lubricating. A crane is also provided for fitting a new mandrel along the rolling axis in such a way that it comes into engagement with the pin support slide.
