The child's high-chair can be fixed to a horizontal surface such as a table, so that it is stable. The high-chair has has two armrests (8, 9) fixed to the two vertical parts of an upright (7). On the free end of one arm-rest (9) is a clamp (10) and the end of the fixed arm-rest (8) opposite the clamped arm-rest (9) is hinged to one leg of the chair. The back (6) of the chair forms one piece with a U shaped upright (7) with bent ends forming extension of two legs (1, 4). The bottom end of one leg (4) has a pivot (16), whilst the bottom ends of the other legs (1, 2, 3) have swivel rollers (15). The two vertical parts of the tube forming the upright (7) of the back have two rods (11, 12) inserted in them, and which slide in the top of the legs (1, 4), enabling the height of the upright (7) and of the back (6) to be adjusted.
