<p>The adjustable mounting supports a power tool (7) e.g. a drill, guiding the tool on a linear path or allowing its controlled inclination relative to the vertical. The fasteners include bolts (1) with hexagonal or serrated heads and diametric locking screws (2) of lesser dia. The union blocks (6a, 6b) are of uniform rectangular section and are traversed by three major holes perpendicular to the block faces. The base plate (4) also has not less than two holes of equivalent dia. One of the rods receives a sliding tool-cradle, and is fixed by union blocks to the base thus, forming a linear tool-guide. Alternatively two rods, coupled at head and foot by union blocks, may be used as a double column supporting an adjustable angle tool (10b, 7).</p> |
