The fixing device has a housing (1) which is located on the wing and through which passes an axially displaceable adjusting bolt (2) provided with a round head (12) and with an opposite blocking part (5). Located on the housing (1) is a clamping plate (3) engaging round the adjusting bolt (2). When the adjusting bolt (2) is pressed in, the clamping plate (3) engages behind an annular notch (11) of the adjusting bolt (2) and thereby secures the blocking position of the adjusting bolt (2) loaded by a helical spring (13). To secure the blocking bolt (2) against the unintentional release of the blocking position as a result of the inadvertent actuation of the clamping plate (3), the adjusting bolt (2) is provided with a crosspin (6) mounted in a guide slot (7) of the housing (1). The housing (1) possesses a catch bead (15) as an abutment (10) on its end face adjacent to the blocking part (5). After the adjusting bolt (2) has been pressed into the blocking position, the latter must be rotated about its axis, so that the crosspin (6) is arranged in the abutment (10) and the blocking position is thereby secured. The fixing device serves for fixing any opening positions of a wing of a window or door relative to the fixed frame, the floor or the window-sill. <IMAGE>
