Wide angle periscope for fighting vehicle - has non-parallel eyepiece glasses with upper and lower mirrors set at different angles

The periscope for a fighting vehicle has the input and output cover glasses angled relative to each other while the upper and lower mirrors have different angles with the cover glasses. The various angles are adjustable to provide an optimum field of view. The bottom cover glass is angled w.r.t. the top cover glass by an amount equal to twice the difference between the cover glasses and the mirrors. The driver is provided with a wide field of view without having to raise his head to the top of the plating. The periscope is suitable for low profile armoured vehicles.
