Railway signalling system with track circuits - has track sections monitored for occupancy and if signals from signalling devices differ, only clear track signals are retransmitted

The system has a number of devices, safe from signalling point of view, which signal when the track is clear. The above devices used may be tract circuits and/or angle counting systems. A track section covering at least two tract clear signalling devices is singly or together with other track sections monitored for its engagement state. A selection and correction device retransmits only the message signalling the track section clear state if signals from the track clear signalling devices differ, while the unauthorised message signalling the track section engagement is suppressed and the respective signalling device is corrected, if it is suitable for correction.
