The apparatus has an insulated plastic cover, inside which are four metal tubes for warming the insemination instruments, and two signal lamps. Temperature regulation within 0.1 deg. is obtained with an electronically stabilised circuit using two temperature-dependent resistors for temperature measurement. The appts. is light and portable, and avoids the use of water bath, while still heating semen and instruments to physiological temperature.
