<p>The heating element consists of a meander-shaped insulated heating wire (1-12) whose loops form arms each comprising two straight lengths (1-2, 3-4 etc.). The support for the meander consists of a metal sheet with channels (16) pressed into it. The channels are spaced so that one arm lies above the sheet and the next below it. The edges of the sheet are angled for fixing to a support wall (26). The advantage lies in fixing the meander arms to the support sheet in a simple manner and without weakening the sheet or using extra parts.</p> |
