<p>Appts. for diluting aerosols is intended for connecting to an aerosol generator or container containing an aerocolloid (concentrated aerosol). Appts. comprises a metering device having its intake connected to the aerosol vessel and its outlet leading into the dilution duct. A constant stream of diluting gas flows through this dilution duct. The metering device contains a metering section of constant, known volume, which is connected at controlled intervals to the aerosol generator via the intake and, in this position, closes the outlet; when the metering section is adjusted to a new position, it is in communication with the outlet but closes the intake. Used for any aerosol dispenser where the aerocolloid is in highly conc. form and needs to be diluted, partic. in medical applications.</p> |
