<p>The latent storage heater has a storage medium, which may be connected to crystals, and maintained crystalline below the solidi faction temp. to enhance the solidification process. The crystals (7) are constantly connected with the storage medium (2). The advance of solidification from the crystals into the storage medium, may be blocked by a thermal block (5), which maintains the intermediate medium zone above the solidification temp. The crystals are chemically identical with the storage medium, and are positioned in a section of a connection conduit (4), which projects outwards through the heater wall. The conduit may be heated between the crystals and heater wall, and the projecting portion may be electrically cooled in the thermal wall zone.</p> |
