<p>The pipe flow interrupter is built into water pipeline of sanitary flushing pipes, for example in toilet systems. The interrupter has inlet and outlet nozzles and air openings between the nozzles. The interrupter valve prevents back flow in case of pressure reduction and also prevents entry of dirt into the water. The interrupter housing (1) has a conical valve body (9) which can be deflected against a restoring spring (12). The surface of the conical valve element forms an annular gap (16) with an inside wall (15) of the housing for the flow of flushing water. The heat (13) of the valve element is held in a rest position on a valve seat (4) at lower end of the inlet nozzle.</p> |
