<p>Each brake circuit of the dual circuit system has a flow monitor which measures the air flow into the system. If the air flow does not reduce with time, or is at a high level then that circuit is isolated by an inertial valve to enable the air supply to be used by the remaining system. As the brakes are applied, the air flow reduces progressively as the pressure rises to the set value, if there is no leak. If the flow persists after the time delay then the circuit is isolated.</p> |
