<p>The load lifting unit for use in mines has a long rectangular casing with suspension lugs on the outside and a lifting hork each end, attached to chains which are moved horizontally inside the casing, as in the main patent. The drive is a hydraulic motor with a cylinder attached to the top of the casing, with a piston inside, from which extends a piston rod attached to a carriage travelling on a horizontal guide. The framework is made from two channels with their flanges facing inwards, and a tube section welded between them, forming the cylinder for the piston, the tube being at the top. The carriage has two chain wheels side by side, for the two chains. The cylinder includes damping for the piston. A hydraulic unit can be suspended between two units.</p> |
