The A/D converter, is for use as a pulse-length modulator in data transmission systems, consists of an operational amplifier as an oscillator with an RC network between its output and inverting input. The amplifier output is connected to one end of an earthed voltage divider (6, 7) whose tapping is connected via a resistor (8) to the non-inverting input. The analog input signal (Um) is applied to the non-inverting input. The analog input signal (Um) is applied to the non-inverting input. A conventional averaging circuit (14-17) is connected to the amplifier output via a dc decoupling circuit comprising an opto-electronic coupler.
|
