An electronic pair of mini-spectacles or optical vision aid fully utilizes the entire surface of lenses which is smaller than the movement area of the eyeball. The lack of lens surface is compensated by way of an automatic guidance system. The lenses (1) are approximately rectangular. They are designed either as horizontal strips of very low height or as vertical strips of very narrow width. The lenses (1) are only slightly larger than the opening in the pupil. Photoelectric sensors (2) are fixed to the edges of the lenses (1). Guidance is not continuous but takes place in steps by using electric current pulses.
|
