摘要 In the new fermentative process the whey is treated with protein/starch-contg. natural products, the mixt. obtd. is subjected to a starch hydrolysis, the resulting sugar is converted into single-cell protein with microorganisms, and the fermented substrate is subsequently evaporated and dried. The new process gives a balanced food/feed product which in particular contains a balanced proportion of amino acids. The product is particularly suitable for feeding calves. Pref. protein/starch contg. natural products are cereals and miaze. The fermentation to give single-cell protein is pref. carried out with yeast. Fat is advantageously added before drying the prod.
