Combined horizontal and lifting conveyor for stable dung - has compact drive with worm units for both conveyor sections

A dung conveyor suitable for stable use has a horizontal reciprocating conveyor at floor level which conveys material towards a lifting conveyor which can be swung about a vertical axis. This has scrapers which convey the material upwards towards a discharge point. The compact drive unit located at the point from which the lifting conveyor slopes upwards, has a motor with its output shaft parallel to the chain for the lifting conveyor. An extension on this shaft has a worm which drives a pump and a worm wheel in turn rotating the chain wheel for the chain drive. It also drives another worm for the control member for the piston drive which operates the horizontal conveyor.
