PURPOSE:To prevent absorber pipes from sagging and bending by a structure wherein reinforcing means, which are arranged below absorber plates and parallel to the absorber pipes and penetrate the parts of an intermediate plate and of end plates, are fixed to an upper header pipe and to a case. CONSTITUTION:A flat intermediate plate 17 is arranged in the middle of a row of absorber plates 13 and flat end plates 18a and 18b are arranged at both ends in the direction of the row. Notched holes are bored at the positions below the undersides of the absorber plates 13 on the lower part of the intermediate plate 17 and of the end plates 18a and 18b. Reinforcing means 19 are slidably penetrated through the holes and, in addition, fixed to an upper header pipe 15 by header clamps 20 and further fixed to the bottom of a case by means of machine screws. |
