Self-lubricating coating composn. comprises a suspension in a low inducting liquid, of a mixt. of synthetic resin particles electrically dissociable and polymensable at a temp. above the liquid b.pt a lubricating solid and opt. an anticorrosive agent. The suspension is directly deposited on the desired area by electrophoresis by adjusting the constituents and parameters then hardened by polymerisation. Specially for coating completely or partially small mechanical parts under-going friction and having difficultly accessible zones. The coating is regular and final machining is not required.
