1531821 Fixing metal cladding ROSTFRIA TAK AB 15 April 1976 [2 May 1975] 15496/76 Heading E1W Metal cladding sheets with edge flanges 4 to be seam-welded together are fastened to a roof or wall by fasteners 1 with a thin upstanding flange 2 and a reinforced mounting flange 5. The upstanding flange is coldrolled to a thickness of 0.15 mm, or less, whilst the mounting flange 5 is reinforced by a plate 7 spot-welded thereto. In the embodiment shown the fastener is in the form of a sliding fastener, anchored to the roof or wall by a strip 6. In the embodiment of Fig. 2 (not shown), the mounting flange (9) is planar and is fixed directly to the substrate.
