PURPOSE:To alleviate load of one of two power sources and to increase the lifetime of the power sources by alternately supplying a current from the two power sources when the two power sources are normally operated, and continuously supplying the current from the other if one of the power sources malfunctions. CONSTITUTION:If two power sources PW1, 2 are normal, outputs (c), (d) from diodes D1, D2 in a monitor 11 become 'Hi'. The output signal (g) of an AND gate 1 and the output signal (h) of an AND gate 2 have reverse phases. A thyristor Si 2 driven by a driver 131 is turned ON by the 'Hi' output of the gate 2. If the output of the gate 2 is 'Lo' it is turned OFF, a current is alternately supplied from the two power sources without momentary power interruption. If one power source PW2 malfunctions, the output of the gate 1 is always 'Hi' since the output of the diode D2 is always 'Hi'. A driver 121 is always driven, the thyristor Si 1 is always ON, and a current is supplied from the power source PW1 to a load unit 15. |
