<p>The artificial ski run is constructed from separate units. Each is moulded from plastic and has two horizontal arms (1, 2) attached to a common vertical plate (6) at one end. This is notched (8) to enable the arms to spread in the form of a vee. Each arm has a curved cross section (4), the lower outer edge (3) resting on the ground. The upper surface has shallow bosses (5) and the other end of each arm has a side stop (9). Units are fastened together at these latter ends, each arm having a peg (14) entering a hole (13) in the adjoining unit to form a complete track.</p> |
