The screw (1) may be self taping and tapered and has a head which may be cheese headed or countersunk. The head has a screw driver slot. The bottom surface of the head has a number of serrations (5) which are disposed radially around the bottom. The serrations may be around the outside of the head or near the body of the screw. The serrations may be toothed, so that the screw cannot vibrate.
