The cover is fitted with edge flanges (28) which are seamed over onto the flanges of the cylindrical body of the can. The centre part of the can is reinforced by folding a groove (24) around the outside. The centre part of the can is shaped with two bosses (29) which add strength to the flat portion of the lid. The lid is pierced by two circular holes each reinforced by means of a circular flange (40, 50). Each hole is plugged by means of a cap (34, 48) which fits up from under the lid and is sealed to the lid. The can is opened by pressing the lid downwards. |
