Cylinder lock for multiple bolt actuation - has holding pin actuated by cylinder carrier and handle for locking and opening door in emergency without key

The cylinder or polygonal lock is used for operating a single or multiple bolt locking mechanism. The lock can be operated in several different ways, and can be opened in an emergency without key. The lock is fitted on door inner side by two screws and the lock is held by a locking pin in a housing. The pin is actuated by the cylinder carrier, the handle being rotated through 90 deg. after unlocking for releasing the lock. The lock is closed by a half turn anticlockwise. The handle is subsequently turned in the opposite direction through 90 deg. and it can be locked by removing the key.
