An electronic circuit incorporated in an electrostatic duplicator examines the level of electrostatic charge of the latent image which is proportional to the light intensity of the image of the original received through the optical system. A comparator circuit compares the latent electrostatic image charge produced on the carried belt. A light source of veriable intensity is controlled by a screen of liquid crystal. An optimal level of electrostatic charge is calculated by examining whether or not the latent electrostatic image is over or under loaded by the electrostatic generator. The feed back circuit does not come into play unless a modification in the latent image is necessary. The belt is coated with selenium, hence made photosensitive. It is electrostatically charged by the generator connected to a power source. The belt moves along three guide rollers having their axes parallel to each other and rotating at constant speed.
|
