<p>Each lamp housing on the vehicle is fitted with a photo-resistance on the reflector. The photo-resistances are coupled to the lighting circuit in such a way that they are supplied with current when the lamps are switched on and connected in series with indicator lights on the dashboard. The spacing of the photo resistances from the filaments is sufficient to prevent thermal effects. When set in the headlamp reflector, and in the brake light cluster they show increased intensity when the brake lights or main beam filaments are operating.</p> |
