Framework for shelf-unit comprises a right-angled frame structure constructed from four post pipes (1) connected at the short ends by angle irons (2). The pipes (1) and angle irons (2) have end post parts (3) which extend from half-way along the thickness of the pipe to beyond its surface. An adjacent component comprises a pipe-shaped part (4) with angle profiles (5), and vertical post parts are provided (6). There are further loose post parts (7) which have a round pin (8) extending upwards from them. These pins (8) can be inserted in the pipe-shaped post part (3), so that the basic components (1 and 2) are supported at the outer end by post parts (7).
