<p>The belt fastener for a three point safety belt is in the form of a connection between the shoulder belt and the two halves of the belt around the pelvis. The shoulder belt runs diagonally at 15 degrees to the vertical, over the rib frame and over the shoulder farthest away from the exit door. The shoulder belt is fixed to the centrifugal type braking roller fixed behind the wearers seat. A pressure sensor (10) is held in a compressible state by means of a spring (13). A tongue (1) fixed to the half of the pelvis belt, on the door side of the wearer, is pressed by the spring (3) out of the fastener housing, and opens the safety belt. A base plate (9) is fixed to the shoulder belt and that half of the pelvis belt away from the door, and together with the bottom of the housing (6) and a housing ring (2) serving as a guide piece, forms the housing for the belt fastening. The ring (2) is rigidly joined to the base plate (9) by means of rivets (12).</p> |
