<p>An extension power cable has a reel that includes a number of power connection sockets built into the drum surface. The drum is of a polygonal cross-section (16) that presents flat surfaces for the retention of power sockets. The power sockets have an inlet guide section with the connectors (14) mounted at the rear. If necessary one socket position may be used for a temp. sensing module to avoid overload. The mains power cable is wound around the drum when not in use and is retained by side discs.</p> |
